Workflow diagram of a film poster research project using the Distant Viewing framework. Film posters and metadata are collected from TMDB, filtered into a database of 100,202 posters for 5,048 films, then annotated using computer vision methods for main colour, faces, text, objects, and personality scores. The resulting annotations are organised into a database for further exploration and communication.
